Park University Golf Scramble and Fundraiser Auction Scheduled for Sept. 8 | Events
The Park University Golf Scramble is scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 8, at Shoal Creek Golf Course in Kansas City, Mo., and new in 2011, the event will include a fundraiser auction following the tournament at Shoal Creek.
The scramble, which benefits the Park University Department of Athletics and the Park School of Business, begins at 11 a.m. with registration and lunch, followed by a noon shotgun start at Shoal Creek. Dinner and awards follow at approximately 5 p.m. At that time, auction items — both silent and live — will be available for bid.
Tournament registration is $125 per golfer or $500 per four-person team, and includes 18 holes of golf with a cart, lunch, driving-range access, on-course games, contests and refreshments, post-tournament heavy hors d’oeuvres and a sleeve of golf balls. A variety of sponsorships are also available. Tournament registration also includes a ticket to the auction event that follows.
Auction tickets are also available to those who do not choose to play in the golf tournament for $30. To register for the tournament, the auction or both events, visit www.park.edu/golf and click on the Golf Registration Form on the left side of the page.
