Trunk 'R' Treat in Platte Woods on Sunday, October 24th | Events

Platte Woods United Methodist Church, 7310 NW Prairie View Rd., will host its 2nd annual Trunk 'R' Treat on Sunday, October 24th, from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m.  The free event is offered to children through 5th grade in the dining hall of the church and is sponsored by the Early Childhood Council.

Kids can wear their costumes a couple of days early and have some fun.  Face painting, music, and games are included in the festivities, along with drawings for a girls' Huffy Bikes and a Falcon Jet Remote Control Helicopter. 

If you are interested in hosting a table, please contact Elisha Herndon at herndonx3@kc.rr.com. You can also help by purchasing individually-wrapped candy for the table hosts to distribute and bringing non-perishable food items to the church for donation to SPEAC.
